Team Development Courses
Developmental outdoor courses typically form a part in a broader programme of learning or training.
Using established academic models we can explore how the activities themselves are underpinned by numerous processes that occur spontaneously during task orientated delivery. In this way our activities are used as a powerful tool or framework to improve levels of personal confidence, increase motivation, raise levels of attainment, develop team working skills, improve communication, establish trust between team members and accelerate the socialisation process.
Tangible learning outcomes are achieved by mindful briefings, conscious reminders during activity sessions and guided reflection afterwards in the review. With greater awareness, teams may then consider how to implement change to improve practices and / or performance for future benefit.
Our continued work with NCS groups (National Citizenship Scheme), The Princes Trust, uniformed services, Apprentice Colleges and Universities are examples of where these types of course serve best purpose.
We create genuine opportunity for team members to take on roles of responsibility and encourage them to create and implement their own solutions- through a process of forward planning or by trial and error.
By doing this, activity organisers can augment learning and witness transformational behaviour within the group.

Simply choose your selection of component parts from our wide range of activities. Your selected activities will then be incorporated into your event – applying an appropriate scenario or theme around the tasks you have selected may add a dynamic dimension and help cement your event together.
We ensure our events are fully engaging and inclusive of all abilities – we do this by deliberately factoring in a variety of roles on all tasks in accordance with our ‘Challenge by Choice’ ethos.
